Gerhard provides a unique
opportunity to discover the varied wildlife found
in Bavaria . He has been involved in wildlife conservation
since 1982 and has been an integral part of the European
Beaver reintroduction program Europe-wide where he
has developed a range of innovative solutions to
mitigate for aspects of beaver activity where they
conflict with human interests.
He studied biology at the
Universities of Regensburg and went on to specialise
in big game management and population dynamics at
Colorado State University in the USA .
Gerhard is a passionate outdoors-man,
enjoying hunting, fishing, wildlife photography and
cooking ‘wild food’. His guiding expeditions
are guaranteed to entertain and leave the participant
wanting for more.
